WIS News 10

I am currently a News/Digital Content Producer at this station.

Here, I have honed my craft in live TV production as well as digital production. I monitor and run the station's website, social media accounts, and produce the noon, 7 p.m., & 10 p.m. newscasts. Additionally, I operate our social and web streaming. This ranges from any live events in the area to fronting stories over our OTT Desk, which I practically act as an "in-studio" reporter.

University of South Carolina

College definitely lived up to the hype.

I was involved in Student Gamecock Television through all four years of college and focused specifically on USC athletics. I made sports packages, broadcasted talk shows, and hosted my own show "Spurs Up" where my co-host and I interviewed personalities within athletics and talked about the Gamecocks. The coolest classes I took were Live Sports Production and Sports Announcing. In these classes, I learned how to operate in the Williams-Brice Stadium control room and eventually ran replay for Gamecock volleyball matches aired on SEC Network+ and play-by-play broadcasted multiple Gamecock softball matches in the Fall of 2020. I got a sweet gig with Gamecock Athletics in 2021, where I play-by-play broadcasted Gamecock men's soccer, women's soccer, and softball over SEC Network+ and GamecocksOnline.

Carolina News

During my final semester of college, I worked in the newsroom weekdays 9-5.

This is where I learned how a newsroom operates. I got to anchor, report, and be on-camera ton at Carolina News. I also worked in the control room, produced shows, helped photog for reporters, and assistant produced. Most importantly, I made some of my best friends from the newsroom during this semester. I became extremely knowledgeable and caring of my local community and learned what working with a team is all about.

Lexington County Blowfish

I was an audio/video production & broadcast intern during the summer of 2020 and ran the Blowfish organization's social media. My role as an intern definitely jumped beyond its title. I started to craft a creative media presence for the organization, color commentated, directed live broadcasts, set up broadcasts, managed statistics, and handled team photography. I loved my time with the Blowfish and got the opportunity to learn and to do a ton.
